Volunteers step up
First, let me say "Thank you" to all our members who attended the Branch Annual Meeting of Members on May 1, 2024 at the Barrie Legion. We had several members showing up so much that we had to get extra tables out. (For pictures, check our branch website) But we could not have done it without our board volunteers and, last but not least the Ladies Auxiliary who provided such a great lunch. Again thank you everyone.
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome two volunteers who stepped up to the plate: Julia Nicholls in the position of treasurer and Manon Auger as director-at-large. Thank you both. It was a great relief to the board and the branch as a whole.
So with this being said, we still require at least one volunteer for the position of secretary. The secretary plays an important role on the board. But we are also looking to fill two more positions for director-at-large.
If you have skills in taking minutes (not necessary), can operate a computer, like team work and have a little bit of fun, you are the person we need. Remember, the more volunteers we have the less work everyone has to do.
