Congratulations to Curtis Jackson, winner of the 2023 APEX Career Contribution Award sponsored by Federal Retirees. Jackson has devoted his life and distinguished career to serving Canadians. Beginning with Corrections Canada in 1992, Jackson’s career has spanned multiple impressive roles. In May 2016, Jackson was appointed as assistant deputy commissioner, Correctional Operations for the Ontario Region where he continues to achieve significant results.
He is a true inspiration for his colleagues and serves his community by supporting a mentoring program for middle managers in his region. Jackson continues to make a difference through his outstanding dedication to transforming corrections and strengthening public safety.
This prestigious award was presented in person by Federal Retirees president Roy Goodall at the annual APEX Awards of Excellence Ceremony on May 30.
