2025 Branch Annual Meeting

We held our branch annual general Meeting at the RCAF Wing 102 on March 26, 2025. We had reports from President Mike Devine and Treasurer Cheryl Young. We also filled board vacancies, including the election of Paul Young as our new president.

Mary Teed, Executive Director of the Colchester Adult Learning Association (CALA), was our guest speaker. CALA offers diverse learning opportunities for adults, ranging from earning a high school diploma to navigating the digital world safely. Mary’s topic was the latter, particularly as it applies to seniors. She explained that when we humans lived in caves, we protected our belongings by placing a large rock at the entrance. After that, we learned to protect our houses and cars with locks, and now we need to protect our digital data from being stolen. For more information, visit www.gocala.ca

We concluded with a hearty soup and sandwich lunch, accompanied by cake for dessert. Thank you to the RCAF kitchen staff.
